Help! These two mixing bowls have been stuck together for days now. Any advice on how to separate them?

  1. Put them in a sink full of hot water for a couple of minutes, then put some ice in the top one.

    Get stronger. Like super ripped.

Also being shirtless and screaming RESISTANCE IS FUTILE helps.

Blast some compressed air in the seam between them

put ice, or ice water, in the top one. heat the bottom one, in a steam table maybe. Cold will contract heat will expand.

  5. Vibration, seriously. Gently hit the one bellow with ~~a wooden spoon or something~~ the knife handle, while trying to separate them in the same time.

  6. Shotbrother

Heat the lower bowl and out ice in the upper one.

If thats not enough put some wd40 in the cracks

Icewater in the top one, put a torch to the bottom one

Try running them through the dishwasher. Works for buckets that are stuck together.

    Dishie here.

Step 1: Put ice and salt in the top one, not too much as you’ll likely cover yourself in it.

Step 2: place the bottom one in HOT water

Step 3: get strong and rip that bitch out.

Step 4 (if previous steps fail): toss them on the ground hard as hell, they will separate but will be deformed.

I’ve had 2 Bain Marie stuck together for 6 years . They are now just conjoined twins

Heat should expand them and the air between them, breaking them free

Thanks for the reply’s lads! Will try again later on when my prep list is done!

Oven should work too but obviously be carefully pulling them apart while roasting hot haha

Blast it on the stove until the top on one blows off, and call a drywall guy.

heat them. Metal gets larger when warm and gets smaller when cold

  18. You need even pressure on both sides. If one side gets pulled even a tiny bit more than the other it won’t come apart. Best thing that usually works for me is put the lip of the bottom bowl under the edge of one of the prep tables. Kinda hold it there with your hip or the help of another person. Grip the top bowl and pull. The table will hold down the bottom bowl on one side, you use your body (like a hip) to hold the other side down. It’ll take a bit of pulling but if done right it will come apart

just throw em away and blame the dish washer

Put them in a hot oven , then drop them onto a plastic chopping board with abit of force

If you have access to an air compressor with a blower nozzle, shoot a little air down between them and they’ll pop apart
