Thinking of going, anyone been to this in other cities? Feels like it might just be overpriced food trucks (vendor list here https://foodielandnm.com/vendor-lineup/ is mainly not names I recognize), but don’t want to pre-judge (and for $7/ticket + parking, might take a flyer anyway)

I’ve been to things like this before and you are basically paying to stand in line to buy food. It’s a pro to have a ton of options but the lines move slow and you get a few bites then go stand in another line. I’ve always left hungry and frustrated 🤷🏻♀️
You’re better off curating your own tour in food truck parks and saving yourself the hassle.
Looking at online video reviews, it looks horrible. These type of events suck! You basically pay just to stand in line for expensive food choices.
I went in Dallas. Don’t waste your time. Shitty overpriced vendors not even local to the city and you’re waiting a minimum of 30 minutes for whatever you’re trying to eat.
I went last year in San Diego and had a good time. Some of the food stalls are the same like the gimmicky drinks and Hawaiian cones. SD also had a good amount of local food vendors, with Asian street food and desserts. I picked up a majority of my food from these stalls and enjoyed everything that I ate. Pricing was comparable to what I’ve seen at other night markets and festivals. Also went right as they opened so it wasn’t crazy crowded and lines were short. Would say look at the vendors list and decide if any are unique enough to warrant the trip out.
Most of those look like ‘Great American Food Truck Race’ reject vendors.
Also the banner pic at the top of the site is a generic wide shot of people looking to be having a not especially good time.
Hard pass.
