Tried this “Itaweon Secret Sauce Fried Ramen” (I got a chicken version) from a Korean restaurant and it just tasted like used gochujang for their sauce. It was a really tasty dish but also looks like it would be easy to recreate

    I should also clarify that “Itaweon” is the name of the restaurant not the area I ate this

    you said it’s chicken flavored, I wonder if this is just a house version of buldalk bokeumyeun, like how some resturaunts will do a fancy version of Mac and cheese

    Itaewon is the foreigner district in seoul, (or it was until we got our asses gentrified right out, pour one out)

    Makes me wonder if it’s some kind of fusion dish.
