I just did olive oil and garlic instead… it’s ok but not the same. Would you still have eaten it? Or did I make the right choice by throwing it out?

I would absolutely not eat it. Even if you can’t see it, there can be mold spores throughout. Typically open jar sauce needs to be stored in the refrigerator and used within 2 weeks.

Tomato sauce/paste/puree is only good for a few days after opening

I was about to make a Supreme a few weeks ago, didn’t know I was out of pepperoni. Here’s my problem with that. All my pizzas start as pepperoni pizzas. The next thing I will is sausage. If I want to add something else it’s onions AND peppers – never one or the other. The last thing I will add is olives. The order of what I like and want on a pizza is always in this order. It’s a 1, 2, 4 or 5 topping pizza. I lost my mind. My wife doesn’t like pepperoni. So usually it’s cheese for her. I always make one pie for me and one for her. That day, I made only one pie. Half cheese and sausage for her, have everything but the pepperoni for me. It wasn’t bad, but I literally was shopping for the ingredients that afternoon. I had my heart set on my kind of supreme, so I was jacked and started making the pizza as soon as I got through the door.
I hope all of you are having a good laugh at how picky I am, because if something similar happened to a friend of mine, I’d be laughing at them. Feel free to roast.
