[Music] some might say that I’m [Music] loner but I just call it being [Music] free I am my heart’s only owner or at least I used to be cuz now wild fire is Raging deep inside and my heart strs hi everyone I’m aray from Southern Country Living I hope everyone is having a great day today here in Georgia it’s just beautiful I just got back from Hardies and I still got my drink over here and I had a nice lunch I had one of their new chicken platters it surely was good so if y’all thinking about getting one from Hardies and hadn’t tried it yet it is really good at least mine was today and uh today I’m making a quick uh peach cobbler and over here I got my uh butter melting and I you you can melt it in the microwave or you can melt it in your oven but I chose to do it this way because this pan right here doesn’t fit in my microwave that good and I didn’t want it hot while I’m putting all my ingredients so that’s why I’m melting it over here and so what is in this Peach cober it’s just real simple I’m using two cans of peaches um 34 cup C of sugar a cup of milk and um cup of flour and then like I said over here I’m melting my butter and when I went to Hardies we always go down to the lake right uh it’s about probably several hundred yards from Hardy’s maybe a half a mile what would you say Calvin it’s just a very short distance right across the road yes it’s right across the road and uh the lake is just beautiful down there and has a lot of wildlife it has geese and ducks and people are down there fishing today and um eating their lunch some of them and so me and C sat there and ate our lunch and when we finished we came back home to do our finish out our video okay and we also uh have a cot pot meal over here going that we’re going to eat later today I just finished it and my Butter’s almost melted like it’s just a little bit but while we were down at the lake people were down there fishing and like I said they were eating and me and cevin we we went down there and we enjoyed our lunch and um Calvin had the same thing as I did and um we were talking about the process when you eat out nowadays it’s just really gotten really ridiculous but um we were doing our videos today so that’s why we went out and um took a lunch break and um let’s see it’s almost melted and um we had a good time um at the lake and uh you know just the simple thing sometimes it’s what you know you can enjoy if you don’t have a lot of money you can still enjoy stuff and uh we really uh enjoy the simple things don’t we Calvin yes we do I don’t know what it would be like to win the lottery I don’t I don’t even play the lottery first of all but people that do play it they really get theirself in some trouble sometimes they don’t know how to handle it so I like things just the way they are okay so now then I’m going to put in my peaches try not to let that hot butterfly up in my face I forgot what um size has this dish was C do you remember uh that is a 7 by 11 okay you can use that or you can use a 8 by8 yeah and I’m hoping that none of this comes out in my oven I did pretty good I have I don’t really ever have any um stuff spilling over in my oven that much I don’t have any burnt stuff in it okay there’s my sugar then I’m put my flour in I’m going to stir this up mix it all up okay I just emptied my uh sugar my 34 cups of sugar in my bow and then I’m um mixed in my one cup of flour and um when you make this after you pour your batter in you do not want to um Stir It you just want the batter to go on it and do not stir it okay so now then I’m going to put my milk in this is a real easy recipe and it’s really a good one I think I’m going to go get my whisk hopefully that’ll stay there okay [Applause] okay over here I have a little bit of sugar and cinnamon and I’m going to sprinkle just a little bit of this on my peaches okay so I’m still trying to get this flour in here to mix in with the other ingredients okay so now then I’m going to pour this on top of my this batter on top of my paches okay I’m going to stick this in the oven for about 30 minutes at 350 ° um y’all all know y’s oven so y’all can judge your own oven but that’s how I’m going to do mine um but also I’m going to turn this down to about 325 on mine because this is a glass dish okay so when this is done I’ll be back in 30 minutes hi everyone I’m back in my peach cobbler sure does look good and smells good I can’t wait to eat it tonight with our slow cooker kabaso with cabbage and potato it’s going to be really good and uh I just love Peach CBL anyway and Kim that’s my granddaughter she really loves Peach Cobbler and um also I if I have enough ice cream I think I have some in the refrigerator I’m going to be serving this with ice cream but I’m not if I don’t I’m not going to drive about five miles to get some so it’s good with ice cream and it’s good without it so I’ll be back tonight when um it really won’t be night but it’ll be almost night when my crock pot meal gets done and so I don’t know if I can wait that long to eat this Peach cober but I’m going to try so I’ll see y’all in a little while [Music] all right so now the then I’m going to put a scoop of ice cream on it it’s hot in my kitchen so my ice cream’s melting the skies of blue I found my peace of Heaven spending my [Music] days so now then I’m going to U taste test the peach cobbler that’s very delicious that is very good the peach collar was fantastic so now I’ve got this smell cook so I’m going to go and enjoy it so y’all have a great day and do do what you love and love what you do and we’ll see you on the next video [Music] bye running never bed about what could be coming every day we danced and life was smiling we were young and drunk [Music] and a few years later I started thinking if it’s just love every glass I’m drinking we’re like without you I’m sinking I’m always shining next to you oh I got you there’s no reason to chasing pavement on my own cuz you’re here to stay every night and day

  1. Well Marie, now I know what I am making for this Memorial Day weekend coming up this weekend. Your peach cobbler looks so delicious and I also love my ice cream a little melty just like in your video. Thanks for making this recipe and giving me a great idea for dessert this holiday weekend! God Bless.

  2. I found your channel about a week ago and I can not express how much I enjoy watching you and sweet Calvin. I live in San Francisco with my wonderful husband, Luis and my two precious sons. We need to stay here until our 15 year old son graduates from high school. San Francisco has devolved into a less than uplifting place to live and being a Christian with traditional values is very challenging here. You both have inspired me to keep my chin up and make the best of the difficult situation. Looking forward to the possibility of relocating once our son has finished up his schooling. He is an honors student and has a full scholarship to his high school, so moving sooner is not really an option. God bless you both! 🌷

  3. That cobbler looked delicious. Everything is better with ice cream! Like you, I always put a dish under a cookie sheet if I think it might boil over in the oven.

  8. I have made this very same recipe before and loved it. A winner. I like the way you presented this in the video, Marie, making it look so appealing.

  9. Hello marie and Calvin your cobbler looked so good but I made it In a 8×8pan and it stays like dumpling consistency on the bottom and didn't rise to the top,not sure what happened but were still going to eat it because the taste is still good.I did sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top before I baked it maybe that changed it ,I had forgot to put it in sooner but thanks for the video I will try it again since it's so simple

  10. Been making this cobbler for years. With whatever fruit you like. Simple and delicious! God bless y'all.

  12. I don't play the lottery anymore either but when I did it was just once in a blue moon. I was excited when I won $5. 😆 $5 would go far now days. Eating out has gone sky high just like groceries. The other day I had to go into Walmart to return something and shopped some while in there. I counted the items I bought to see what $101 bought which was only 33 items but I bought mostly GV brand items which are some cheaper than name brands as you know then I thought back in the 90s and early 2000s I fed my kids myself and husband for that every 2 weeks I went shopping at the commissary on base. I like your cobbler Marie. I like canned peaches in the juice.
