Overall 7/10 for me. So, I'm a huge cinnamon junkie, so I wanted to try this since it sounded right up my alley. The base was great…very creamy, not too too sweet, and a nice kiss of cinnamon. The bun dough pieces were surprisingly fresh tasting, and had great texture. Also, as I'll continue to reiterate, I love me a high mix-in ratio, so the fact that there were copious amounts of bun dough pieces was a win for me. The cinnamon icing swirl was a tad lacking for me, and I think caused the overall experience to be not quite cinnamon-y enough for me. Didn't taste much of the "brown sugar" in the base, but that's one of those things that's kind of a background note anyway, so it may have just been the bass line to the sweet lead guitar riff that was the bun dough pieces. I'd say all in all this one's a winner, and I'd definitely buy again if I'm in a cinnamon-y mood. Hell, I can always just add a few shakes of cinnamon on top as a supplement.

I saw this last night and almost snagged it, but just overall am consistently underwhelmed by every single Blue Bell flavor I try, so I opted for Ben and Jerry’s churros flavor to get my cinnamon fix instead. The cinnamon bun pieces sound really good, though, so after reading your review I’ll give this a chance next time!

I keep looking for the Haagen Dazs but haven’t found it.

The Ben and Jerry’s has more kicky cinnamon than I expected, so it hit the spot just on that account alone! The churros were almost chewy, like bits of dough – I’m not sure what I was thinking, but I was surprised, and while there were quite a few chunks in the mix, I would’ve wanted maybe 15% more. But overall, I do love cinnamon and it delivered.

I laughed when I read that you thought about just shaking some more cinnamon on top. You are me!! Lol
