Have a question. Got this smoker for Christmas. It's has been great. One of the easy things I have to cook with. My question is. The bottom part of the lid does not fully seal the the rest of the body. Is that to let air in? Or do I need to bend the door down to seal it completely. With it like that I can hear the smoker doing it's thing. If I push down on it. It gets quite. Thanks for the help

Hey! It looks like you posted an image!

If this is a photo of one of your cooks, maybe share the recipe and techniques
used, as it’s almost guaranteed one of the first questions you will be asked!

    *What seasoning did you use?

*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?

*Did you use any special tricks or techniques?

    Traeger on!

I’ve got the same model and it fits like a glove.

Should be a flush seal. Hard to tell from the photo, but looks like the barrel may be slightly dented/bent.

Either way; I’d have Traeger make it right, you shouldn’t have to get into bending or warping it if you just got it this year. Their support is pretty good, you should send them the photo
