I got this pepper plant from my local nursery. In doing some research, I saw some people saying this was capsiacum annum and some saying frutescens.
There are quite a lot of early flowers forming. The plant is quite branchy and about 11 inches or 28 cm in height.
I know with most species you're supposed to pick off early flowers when they're still very small, although I have heard advice not to do this in the case of chinense plants. The explanation for this was that they take so long to set fruit compared to the other species and you could hurt yields by picking any flowers off.
I'm also assuming since they take so long to set fruit they probably devote a little less of their resources to it and so it doesn't inhibit their upward growth in the same way as having early flowers on other pepper species. Is that correct?
In any case, any pepper growers with more experience that can advise me if I should pluck my early flowers on this Thai pepper?

Oh man, I love these!! Lot’s of sun and water. They become really bushy and give huge harvests. The look great also. When they’re ready, I put them in coconut oil with lemongrass, basil and a drop or two of sesame oil. Fifth year straight growing them. Probably my favourite pepper to grow.
