last year we planted a bit too late so the tomato plants were still relatively small at the end of the season, so when I planted these I thought they’d have plenty of space.. less than two months of growth between these photos.. I can’t keep up with these monsters! I’m so proud and so excited hehe

I do 3ft between plants, but I know others in hotter climates put them closer since tomato’s don’t set fruit above 90 degrees or so. Putting them closer together provides shade, but also increase the chance of disease spread tenfold.
