Hi, there! I was given two packages of dried fruit and nuts, which I really like and can't incorporate the amount I would like to eat into my budget. So, I started fantasizing (exactly this word), and I got curious if I could eat them all in a day as I would like to and add some other stuff I like but eat moderatelly (chocolate, crispbread, for example). I didn't have many cool options by that time, so it is what it is.
well, I think with this combo I would survive a day. I hesitate bc I need volume food, I feel miserable and hungry with little portions. It was fast improvisation, I think I definitely can fit in some lettuce or make some more interesting swaps.
Just if you are interested, compare this amount with my another collage of one of whole day of meals. Almost the same calories w/o cornflakes, for example. The amount of food is expectedly different.
I know this community always say that we eat what we want counting calories, and we surely do, but I am talking about the amount of this food. Now, I don't want 5 nuts or 4 grams of chocolate, a want three times more. This post is about it. About fantasies. 🫠
Interesting to know what you would build one of your CICO days around, what would you include.
p.s. I will ask mom not to give me these packages anymore 😀 Some things do change.
have a good 🔆day

So you want to eat the whole packet of nuts in one day? I totally get it 🙂
Nuts are 750 kcal and we are left with 750 kcal to play with.
I’d say that yogurt (105 kcal) with nuts is fine for breakfast.
For lunch I’d suggest a big fresh salad for volume. Lots of salad leaves, tomato, cucumber, any other low-cal vegetable mixed with yogurt. The whole bowl would be about 100 kcal. I’d eat it with chicken and half the crackers because I need my carbs. Total for lunch 320 kcal.
325 kcal left for dinner. I’d go sweet with one or two candy bars and the rest with fruit like apples, blueberries, grapes or melon. Eat it with a cup of tea.
I’d say it would be a good day, maybe not the most filling but fine once in a while.
