So for those that aren't familiar "50 First Dates" is a comedy where Drew Barrymore's character has no long term memory and whatever she experiences on the current day, she has no memory of the following day. Anything she learns that day, she has to relearn again the next day and the day after that and the day after that and on and on.
It's an entertaining movie but I find myself not so entertained in real life when I have a customer that I've had the identical conversations with her dozens of times and every time she proclaims that it's the first she's heard of this. Whether it's changes in staff or information about the menu or even about anything else unrelated to coffee or our shop, nothing sticks!
And just to throw in another movie reference, we have another customer that looks a lot like Doc Brown from "Back to the Future" but he's kind of cranky and sour instead of lovably out of his mind.
Anyone else have a customer that reminds you of a movie character?
