I got these 2 big corporate texts from my boss because I clocked out 30mins after my scheduled time. Mind you I was doing my closing tasks AND helping my coworker/shift leader close BOH because she was behind tasks. Which I'm assuming my shift leader through me under the bus for clocking out "late", just to save her own skin incase the boss asked, "why I clocked out later than shift leader."
My boss asked me "Why I clocked out later than my shift leader." My response was, "I clocked out as soon as we finished our tasks." Instead of hearing out my half of the story, she immediately believes everything Shift Leader says…
I think shift leader clocked out way earlier than she should, even though she was STILL working. I clocked out as soon as I made sure everything was done correctly and organized. I'm not about to clock out and hang out 10+mins inside the cafe just because I feel like it…
Yes I purchased a bag of beans but that literally took me under a minute to do… its moments like these that make me question if I should even continue my part time job. My boss sent me this and it ruined my mood on my ONLY day off out of the week…
What makes it worse is that I've been always there and helpful to my Shift Leader, letting her know if she ever needs any sort of advice, that she can always come to me. (she's 7yrs younger)
