I heard Fragrant has closed. This was my favourite place for dan tat. The best flakiest eggy custardy goodness.
You & Me is next best. Panash is on my list. Tell me how can I fill this empty tart-shaped hole in my stomach 😭 where do I go?!

Ahh damn it. What a loss.
Nooo I never even got a chance to try it!!
Are they moving? Or did they close close?
been goin to them for egg tarts and winter melon pastries for decades
there has been a noticeable drop in quality over the years
still sad to see them go
When did it close? It still says open on google with reviews from a few days ago.
I walked by a couple of weeks ago, no signs that they were about to close at that point.
Their wife cakes were amazing!!!! I wonder if they just retired.
We just tried the tarts at Rico Cafe at Kings Square. Adorable little family run cafe. We enjoyed their tarts, which are a bit in between the Chinese and Portuguese style. The milk pudding was definitely worth the trip though (note this is Shunde mainland style so no ginger.) My friend enjoyed her milk pudding espresso too!
Omg those egg tarts look good! I’m sad I never got to try them.
Try a Portuguese custard tart!
Oh I’m so sad… it was cheap and cheerful. I would go there after my dim sum run and grab some cheap Chinese bbq at the food court 🙁
Wait what !!! I loved their egg tarts too
Omg nnnnooooooo
Imo the best Chinese egg tart is at les chateaux bakery in Markham at hwy 7 and kennedy. Fragrant bakery was most famous for their lo po beng (wife pastry?) jf I remember correctly.
Is it possible they’re on vacation?
I find T&T pretty good for egg tarts. You can get a mix of Portuguese tarts and egg tarts. I like the puff pastry ones. I get them in the morning when they are still warm.
