I think someone sold you my crockpot. lol, it’s fine to use. Mine looks exactly the same.

The left point will rust away and eventually stop it working. It will last a while longer with getting as much of that burn stain off. Use vinegar or rubbing alcohol.
Unfortunately, that looks terminal, so don’t expect it to work months down the track. Most likely, why it was free. Goes – but destined to stuff out.
