Finished off a jug of El Yucateco XXXTRA hot. I’d say about a 5 out of 10 on the spicy scale for me. What’s the next logical step? I love the flavor but the spice is starting to be lacking now.

You ever try the Tabasco Scorpion Pepper sauce? I believe that one comes in a jug as well.
I’ve bought so many little bottles of this over the years, this jug makes sense.

The next step after habanero is scotch bonnet, and it is a minor step up. After that, you are into superhots. There have been many good suggestions lately for good scotch bonnet sauces. Give it a search.

Ghost Pepper sauces. I like African Ghost Pepper sauce by African Dreams as my daily. Some prefer Melinda’s.

El Yucateco has a ghost pepper/habanero sauce that is probably like 25% hotter than their xtra hot. Personally I prefer the flavor of the xtra hot, but the ghost pepper one is definitely good
