I recently scored a used ASMOKE Pellet Grill, 700 sq in Wood Pellet Smoker Grill Combo for Outdoor Cooking (Model Name: AS660N-1). Super excited to get started, but I need some advice on a few things:

  1. Cleaning Tips: Since I bought it used, I want to give it a thorough cleaning before I start using it. Any recommendations on the best way to clean and maintain a pellet grill? What should I look out for to make sure it's in good condition?
  2. Apartment-Friendly Care: I live in an apartment, so I need to be mindful of space and potential issues with neighbors. How can I take care of the grill in an apartment setting? Any tips on storing it or minimizing smoke and odor while cooking?
  3. Meal Prep Ideas: I'm planning to use it for meal prep for one person. What are some good recipes or types of meals I can cook on it that would be great for prepping and storing for the week? I don't eat pork

Thanks in advance for any tips and advice! Can't wait to get grilling!

I assume you are on the first floor?

I would absolutely not use a pellet grill on the second floor/any other floor of an apartment building.

While I appreciate your desire to have a pellet grill; probably not the best idea considering where you live and a neighbor above you.
Smokers will smoke. And while the smell is pleasant, it might upset your neighbors.
