baking I’ve never baked before to prove that baking is easy today we’re making tiramisu I don’t know why but it’s really hard to find a place serving some good tiramasu it’s one of the most underappreciated desserts out there while also being one of the best ones I’m making everything from scratch because of course I am including the lady fingers I looked it up and lady fingers got their name because they’re supposed to resemble you guessed it a lady’s finger let me just tell you right now if you’re a lady and your fingers look like this I highly suggest seeing a medical professional I have yet to find something to bake that challenges me and honestly I just want a recipe where I don’t have to wait an absurd am of time in between each step don’t worry I’m still going to do the sourdough bread but the starter is taking its sweet time I couldn’t be asked to wait overnight until this thing’s set so I gave it a few hours in the fridge and I’d say it said enough who cares and how did it taste amazing what did you expect once again baking ain’t I am a God and my ego is still thriving baking I’ve never baked before to prove that baking is easy today we’re making croissants the time has finally come every single one of you said that this would be the one that humbles me we’ll see about that so why did it take me so long to do this well first I wanted to come home so I could use my parents stand mixer and rolling pin there’s absolutely no way I’m failing this so I’m taking every precaution and second I needed two days I could dedicate to this and now that I’m on break from college it’s time these are probably one of the easiest things I’ve baked in this whole series all it is is timec consuming I’m following Claire sappi’s recipe because I need a recipe I can trust croissant ody everything I’ve been trying to preach in this series baking is just measuring and following directions if you thought my ego was high before after today it’s on a whole another level honestly I wish I could fail just to understand what normal people feel like but I guess I might never know when they came out of the oven I knew right away y’all are going to be pissed I mean supposed to be one of the most deceivingly hard things to bake at no point during making this that I think it was hard y’all keep saying this will be the one that makes you fail for every recipe just might be one of my favorite pastimes you guys knew it was going to happen these came out perfect and tasted Amazing by the end of this series it’s only right that I open up my own Bakery what do you guys can stop requesting it the reason I put it off for so long is because I didn’t understand what was so hard about it it’s it’s just a sweet lasagna you guys really thought it was a good idea to challenge the Middle Eastern guy to make a middle eastern dessert big mistake the only hard part about this was having the patience to butter every other layer if you don’t want my ego to be so big stop giving me opportunities to flaunt it ask me to do a backflip or something in the kitchen I’m like the love child of Gordon Ramsey and Remy from Ratatouille minus the tail in the British accent honestly at this point I wish I failed at something like I’m just craving a challenge the one thing people mess up most with baklava is they either had too much or too little syrup me I added the perfect amount I kid you not my roommates tried it and said it was the best best one they’ve ever had once again baking ain’t I am a God and my ego is still thriving baking I’ve never baked before to prove that baking is easy today we’re making bom cushen you guys flooded my comment section asking me to make this I looked it up and now I understand how you guys think you assume that just because I don’t have some fancy ass equipment like a rotisserie spit that I can’t make this dessert let me tell you right now I don’t need nothing fancy to be the best I’m just a man with a frying pan in a dream all this dessert really is is a bunch of rolled up Crepes like you couldn’t be more creative than that really either way this one was up there with some of the easiest things you’ve challenged me to make all I had to do was grab some aluminum foil and keep layering them until I was done how about next time we really step it up as always these came out perfect although I’m not going to lie this is one of the lamest desserts I’ve ever tried once again baking ain’t I am a God and my ego is still thriving baking I’ve never baked before to prove that baking is easy today we’re making opera cake this is Apparently one of the hardest French desserts to make we’ll see about that why would you name a cake after the Opera does anyone actually go to the Opera I prefer to listen to real music like Shawn Mendes what makes this dessert so quote unquote difficult is all the fancy layers one of them is cake and the other is melted chocolate whoever created this was really going for style points this definitely won’t be the first time in this series that I humiliate the French I’ll give it to them they got a lot of yummy desserts but to say they’re hard to make is one hell of an overstatement let me give you guys some homework think of one of the so-called hardest things to bake croissant a Clair’s whatever you got it now go make it don’t overthink it just do it you’ll realize how easy it really is I will say this cake cake was probably one of the tastiest things I’ve ever had and I absolutely nailed it once again baking ain’t I am a God and my ego is still thriving baking I’ve never baked before to prove that baking is easy today we’re making sourdough bread one of the most highly requested recipes I’ve ever had y’all really thought I was scared of it or something you want to know why it took so long this right here the coveted sourdough starter I had to feed a mason jar every day for the past 2 weeks just to make some bread you know what else I could have done in 2 weeks bought 14 loaves of sourdough bread nothing about this process was difficult I was just getting annoyed I had to work my entire day around doing folds on some dough although I will say this once and only once it was a kind of fun process in hindsight to everyone that commented asking me to make this why are you so scared of it I’m willing to bet you can make it on your first try too don’t let nobody tell you you can make it your I know I certainly did after what felt like a lifetime it was finally time to bake it I scored it with a pretty little pattern and it came out looking like the best grilled cheese I was ever going to make this cross-section could win Awards once again baking at I am a God and my ego is still thriving baking I’ve never baked before to prove that baking is easy today we’re making gaza’s chocolate and strawberry cream puff cake about a week ago King Arthur Baking thought it would be smart to challenge me to make this I guess everyone wants a chance at knocking down my ego unfortunately that day is not today they thought this cake would scare me since it has six different components in it have you not been paying attention to this series I just follow the recipe where everything is measured out and detailed for you and in the end I always win it’s not hard guys one of the components is a chocolate cake which I could do in my sleep and another is cream puffs which I’ve made like what 3 three times already on here I wish I could say there was a hard part to this recipe but I have yet to find it does it get boring for you guys watching me succeed all the time cuz I would completely understand at this point I’m just going to tell you how I would make these recipes better I would make the Crea filling something with Pistachio Pistachio desserts are becoming an endangered species and I won’t have that this thing turned out amazing so with great pride I say once again baking ain’t I am a God and my ego is still in it basically just an Italian fruit cake I’m willing to bet at least 80% of the people that challenged me to make this have never tried it before I mean do people actually eat fruit cake either way this one was hardly a challenge in fact the hardest part of making this was trying to find the paper liners to bake them in you guys do realize all the bread recipes you have me do are about 20 minutes of Hands-On work and hours of just waiting and in the end these come out looking and tasting perfect but I never fail so no surprise there once again baking ain’t I am a God and my ego is still thriving baking I’ve never baked before to prove that baking is easy today we’re making a pumpkin pie after I dropped the apple pie video where I made a perfect apple pie a bunch of you told me that a pumpkin pie is way harder apparently you have to do something called blind baking which I guess is just a fancy way of saying pre-bake either way this Step At Its zero level of difficulty so I hope you all are happy I made my own pie crust of course but I genuinely don’t think there’s any difference between a homemade and a pre-made one still got to do it though to flex my talents I think I’m about done baking desserts it’s time to move on to Breads and pastries let me know what I should add to the list I know yall want to see me make croissant and sourdough bread all I have to say is coming soon to make sure the pie is cooked to a perfect 180° I’m using the thermo proo lightning instant read thermometer I couldn’t even wait for this pie to cool down to eat it it tasted like sweet
