Hey all! I'm growing a Black Krim for the first time which is an heirloom-style tomato that is bound to have big fruits. This particular blossom is twice as big as the others, the stem of it included. I've never seen the green outer portion of the blossom come through the middle of the flower (there was a yellow flower) Is this a mutation? The rest of the flowers look normal .

1st picture is from a week ago after the yellow flower started wilting, the 2nd and 3rd are from today. Thanks for looking!

    MEGA BLOOM! (Really, it’s a thing)

    Common with the early flour trusses. They can produce huge, but usually mis-shapen tomatoes.

    Nope it looks like it’s set! Give it a bit and it’ll start pushing a fruit out!

    It’s a tomato! When the bud falls off it’s because a baby mater is a growing!
