This is free to whomever wants to try to fix it. Would JB Weld and some elbow grease fix this?

I don’t think that’s a BGE.

Yeah, that’s not a BGE, and no it’s not fixable. You would need to find a new dome for it. I guess in that way it is fixable. It’ll probably cook pizzas great.

Def not an egg. That looks like some kind of broken ceramic. Not sure if it can be replaced buts it’s not like replacing a gasket.
While id probably give up here, you can find out the brand and see if it can be fixed. But if someone is selling this as a green egg, I’d stay away because they are lying and can’t have good intentions.
I mean if it’s really free and you have the space for it, there can’t be too much harm in picking it up. Will have a hard time holding temp with that gap, but can still use it for Pizza or grilling

Duct tape will fix that

I’d take a shot at repairing it with Rutland furnace cement. Nothing to lose!

Edit: appears to be an old [Bayou Classic Cypress](https://www.bayouclassic.com/collections/bayou-grilling/products/bayou-classic-cypress-ceramic-kamado-grill)
