I’m in Zone 6b, is it too late to grow this habanero?

Figure 90 days til peppers. I’m assuming first frost is sometime in October, so you should get a small-to-medium harvest

It should be fine. However, I’d move that mulch a bit away from your plant stem.

It will be fine. Put it in the ground and it will grow fast. If you want to extend the season for it you could make a little greenhouse for it.

Same zone here. I run into this all the time, should I or should I not. I generally come to the conclusion that it’s not that much risk to plant it and see what happens. I almost always get some production out of habaneros.

Same zone as well, you will be fine. Just let it do it’s thing. You could bring it in for the winter and over winter it and keep it for next year I’d you wanted.

I would also suggest a grow bag or even a larger pot 5 to 7 gallons is a good starting point. If it is not already that big.

I’m in 5B, and that’s all the size that my hot peppers are right now. I expect a full harvest as usual.

Most hotter peppers are 90-120d harvest, that’s from seed. Your plant is already 30-60 days old probably. So yeah you got plenty of time before it starts to get cold out. June to end of September is 120 days

You’re fine. You’ll have a nice crop. I’m also in 6b and had plants in the past less mature than that and had an enough time and good harvest.
