I’m a novice griller. I have grilled some petite steaks but nothing major. But my girlfriend is gone for the weekend, the weathers beautiful and I have a new grill. Any tip would help. Recipes/techniques/times appreciated thank you

  2. I know a lot of guys prefer tenderloin, but personally I prefer a well marbled ribeye.

  3. I prefer ribeye, but monetary concerns allow me to grill t-bone or new york strip.

I would go with the sirloin top center. They are a nice thick cut. Alternate would be ribeye. It’s got more marbling and many people prefer that.

I am grabbing the galbi, marinate them in some KBBQ, grill up some veggies (I prefer zucchini and mushrooms, husband wants bell peppers and onions), and serve will a little rice.

I didn’t even see the rib-eye hiding in the picture at first. As for steak cuts, ribeyes are my favorite.

    1st pick- ribeye
    2nd pick- flanken short ribs

Love a ribeye but sometimes I just feel like a hangar.

None of those, those prices are way too expensive.

Always do ribeye so if I was there right now I would grab the flat iron. Used to grill them at work but never seem to find them when I’m grabbing steak.

I think I’m too poor to even look at this picture

Damn those prices are crazy. 23.99 for flat iron is highway robbery

In your shoes, I would personally go for the galbi. Marinate in a KBBQ sauce for a few hours or make your own (there’s simple recipes online). It’s hard to mess them up on the grill as long as you’re paying attention and don’t burn them. Start with something easy and get comfy with your grill.

  13. Chuck eye sliced into steaks – marinade: Guinness, beef stock, worchestershire, hot sauce, s&p, thyme, parsley, bay leaf, can of diced tomatoes. Reduce marinade with a whole stick of butter while grilling. Crack steak.

From the old Thrill of the Grill cookbook.

  14. id ask whoever made these

my butcher is usually very nice and they have given me very good infos on what to take and how to prepare

What an amazing selection. I had to look up “Merlot”- never heard of it. The prices are steep but I almost never eat beef, so I’d probably splurge on a big ol’ sirloin. Grill it medium rare based with garlic butter!

In reality? The sirloin tip cap. I’m pretty good with them.

Hanger steak hiding out in the back all neglected.

12.99/lb for brisket? You can get wagyu for half of that.

  19. That sirloin tip looks mean but these prices are beat as hell.

Those ox tail are calling my name. They look much better than anything I’ve seen in my area.

  22. abadinfluencelol

That ribeye has negative marbling what in gods name

  23. NoRookieMistakes

I wouldnt buy any cut there. Not just price but also the cuts are too lean for my taste. Almost no marbling. Fat is taste.

  24. Flat iron. Never had a bad one. And usually cheaper than some other cuts since not many people know of its awesomeness.

  25. That galbi baby. It’s a crowd pleaser at our house. Can’t beat that Korean-style (sweet and sticky) marinade
