Maybe I’m being knit picky because I’m pregnant but, I want to cry with the amount of onion in this ramen. I’ve never even had ramen with onion, other than green onion which is totally different and just fine. It tastes sweet and like French onion soup. I’ve never been to Japan so I don’t know the “traditional” flavors but, I feel this ain’t it. Am I being crazy😵💫

Huh onion is certainly uncommon, but hey if it tastes alright then it’s no biggie

Ramen often has soup made with onion, but it’s strained and not in the final product.
Yeah that’s pretty nontraditional.
Onions are part of many ramen broths in Japan. One of my favorite ramen shops, Stamina Ramen Suzuki, has onions as one of the main flavor twists and I love it.
But idk man, that doesn’t even look like onions?
