    You wash your potatoes then you sliced them then you soak them for five minutes then you drain them well this is happening. You are heating up your oil to at least 375 when the oil is preheated to the right temperature then you dry your potatoes and then you put them in the heated oil. You do not cover your potatoes with unheated oil and then he no that’s not the way you do it
