So i know the chimney get´s hot, is it safe to put it under my patio cover?
The distance will be around 1 meter (don´t look at all the mess)

Get the clutter out of there and it will be fine. The only thing I could think of is if you had it loaded, took the top off, and opened up the vent full to run at 900 degrees. That MIGHT melt the roof a bit. It’s like a jet engine in that scenario. Other than that, no worries

Height of the area is totally fine. Just declutter in the immediate area the grill will be; leave ample room to pop the lid open where it doesn’t touch anything while it’s hot. But yeah looks like a good space to grill and chill.

Edit: for reference, looks like you have the same amount, if not more space above yours than what I [currently have](https://imgur.com/a/TziDZlo) and I’ve had no issues.

Edit x2: if anyone sees issues with this please let me know. I am still new, just took delivery a few weeks ago.

If your gasser running at 500 didn’t hurt anything a ceramic kj is prob even safer. The outside is safe to touch and contains heat way better. Do you roll it out to use or cook under the canopy
