Kadai Paneer recipe is a spicy, warming, flavourful and super delicious dish made by cooking paneer and bell peppers in fragrant, fresh ground spice powder.
This uniquely flavoured and spiced Kadai Paneer is so much different from the other paneer gravy dishes like Paneer butter masala and Shahi paneer.

This restaurant style curry is best served with Butter Naan, Roti, Jeera rice or steamed basmati rice.

INGREDIENTS :

• Paneer – 300 gm (lightly fry)

(GRAVY PASTE) :
2 Tomatoes ,
2 Capsicum ,
1 Onion (square size),
1 Onion (spiced),
10-12 Cashews ,
Oil – 1 tbsp,
Salt – 1 tsp,
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp,
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp,
Ginger paste – 1 tsp,
Garlic paste – 1 tsp,

{KADAI MASALA}
Coriander seeds – 2 tsp,
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp,
Black pepper – 1/2 tsp,
3-4 Long pepper,
1 Black cardamom,
2 Green cardamom,
Fennel seeds – 1/2 tsp,
1 mace flower (javitri ka phool),
1 Cinnamon stick,

Cooking oil – 1 tbsp,
3-4 Green chillies (sliced),
Fresh Cream – 5-6 tsp,
handful of fresh coriander leaves,

COOKING PROCESS :
1 (Make Kadai Masala) : Roast the whole spices then gring

2 Fry the paneer till light golden

3 Fry Onion & Capsicum

4 take out the fried onion & capsicum

5 (Make Gravy) : add onion sliced then tomatoes then spices as mentioned roast till 3-4 minutes on high to medium flame. Take out to cool down then grind into paste

6 add 1 table spoon of oil while the oil is hot add the gravy paste we made in it. Roast on high to medium heat for 3-4 minutes

7 add sliced green chillies and kadai masala we made. Then roast

8 add fried paneer & capsicum onion then a little bit of water. Again roast for 2 minutes

9 add cream & coriander leaves then serve with butter naan & rice.
