This summer, I'm growing Habs, Burning Bush Habs and the Armageddon F1, which Burpee claims to be 1.2 million SHU. The hottest peppers l've eaten were Habs and Scotch Bonnets and I haven't eaten any Habaneros in a couple months. I need to raise my tolerance by the end of the summer so I can enjoy the pepper harvest. Any suggestions?

By eating hotter than you think you can handle. Eating spicy daily.

Make salsas that you regularly consume during the week. Roasted habanero salsa with tomatillos, onions, and garlic is my favorite. I also like to make Habanero mango de Gallo with mangos, Habanero, onion (white or red), lime juice, salt, and olive oil. Add at least a handful more chilies than what you think you need.

Also if you get stressed or nervous easily take the spicy food easily. I get colitis when I’m stressed and have to avoid it then.
