This summer, I'm growing Habs, Burning Bush Habs and the Armageddon F1, which Burpee claims to be 1.2 million SHU. The hottest peppers I've eaten were Habs and Scotch Bonnet. I need to raise my tolerance by the end of the summer so I can enjoy the pepper harvest. Any suggestions?

By eating spicier things. None of the supermarket hot sauces will do that. Buy a bottle of Primo Army hot sauce and mix a little of that into your normal sauce. Your tolerance will go up quickly.

When the peppers are really popping, red and bright, cut back a bit with watering. Somehow this helps kick the intensity up a notch.

I’m doing Pablano and Trinidad Scorpion currently.
Good drainage, plenty of water and direct sunlight are your best friends.
When they’re muture they’ll sag a bit when getting dry. Hit em with a big drink but not too big.
Good luck with the grow and post your progress!

In a big, red 5 gallon Home Depot bucket. Deep roots. I drilled holes for drainage.

    Git gud.

Jk. Gradually raise the spice level you’re consuming over the course of months. Don’t push into “I hate my whole life” territory unless you’re into that shit, but get it close.

Dunno, but you need to practice sprinting to the turlet

It’s not a competition. No one thinks your dick is bigger because you can eat hot stuff, that being said, eat what you enjoy. I don’t eat raw super hots for fun and put reapers in my buldak 3x. I do, however, love thinly sliced habaneros on my pizza or a chopped superhot in a giant bowl of guacamole or chili. Eat what you like. You don’t need 2,000,000 shu in every meal to be accepted here.
