so i came back home from a tour in korea and i craved this dish right away! i forgot how they call this dish but i ate in a restaurant in myeongdong.
it has chicken, potato, noodles, carrots, and cheese on top! (our tour guide specifically mentioned that this dish is much better with mozarella cheese on top) and the sauce has a soy sauce type of base. he called it 'korean adobo'

The cheese is throwing me off but im pretty sure it’s just dak-bokkeum-tang with cheese and noodles lol
That looks like a take on jjimdak. Also, that is nothing like Filipino adobo, lol. The only thing that dish has in common with adobo is that it’s made with chicken, and has soy sauce in it.
Looks like both jjimdak and dakdoritang, they’re both braised chicken!
