I thought I was duped until 5 bites in and the warmth started making its way from the pit of my stomach up through my ears and nose.
Not the hottest on the tongue but definitely gives clear sinuses and a solid cure for the chills, if that’s ailing you.
My tongue/mouth is burning intensely in one spot when I bit what I thought was clove and turned out to be a dried scotch bonnet or ghost pepper.
Definitely delivered on what I was looking for as I’m more sensitive to tongue heat than stomach and face heat.
Also, the crushed red pepper for garnish is hilarious redundant considering the actual level of heat of this (I added it after tasting a dab from a tea spoon before mixing).
