Hi! I’m a beginner gardener so please be gentle with me as it’s my first season! I was wondering if this plant can make a comeback? It dropped all its leaves in a heavy rain after overpruning:( it’s about to be very hot and humid for the next few months so I’m hope it can be revived!

No leaves = no photosynthesis = a non productive plant. It may not die, and it may slowly grow back some leaves, but I doubt you’ll get any peppers off of it this year. If you can successfully overwinter it till next year it should produce.

Nex time, Don’t prune them. Maybe prune bottom branches once they are a couple months old. Also you need 1 plant for one of those bags, but fill each bag all the way up.

They may come back. When I overwinter my peppers, I essentially cut them down like this… but they’re mature plants at that time.
