There are these little black specks all over some leaves and some are strung and dangling from a leaf (second photo). What are they, and are they harmful to my plant? Full picture of my plant is in last slide. Seems to be doing ok otherwise. Some yellowing leaves/branches that I have pruned.

Worm poop. Your going to have them eating stuff soon (tomato 🐛’s)
Seconding caterpillar poop. Watch out.
Search very carefully for hornworms above the poop. He’s there lurking lol.
caterpillar poop. check for hornworms. If you have a black light, shine it on your plants at night and they will glow.
Yep hornworms. Right above the circle in your picture looks like leaves were chewed. They are very sneaky so if you don’t find it, look again or get a blacklight.
I see the caterpillar in the picture with the circle. It’s green and chewing the leaf
I think diatomaceous earth works to kill these guys in an organic garden. I love the stuff, it works great.
If it’s a hornworm caterpillar, they are very hard to see. If you take an ultraviolet or UVB light, connect it to an extension cord and shine the light on your plants at night, they’ll turn a purple color and are easy to find.
I’m not 100% sure, but hornworms might be solitary, so no cousins or aunts to look for.
