I’m home with my parents for the summer, and figured I could review a bunch of places nearby! I ordered the Miso ramen, and the soup was perfectly average. The noodles were good, the toppings were averagely good (with two exceptions) and I was willing to give this place a 5.5/10. The pork however, was delicious. A good char and well seasoned, and I would come back for that alone. The egg was perfectly cooked, with the yolk being almost silky. For dessert I got a Mango Crepe cake, which was good and not overly sweet (the mango actually had a bit of sourness, which paired nicely with the cream). My only issue with this place isn’t even with the restaurant itself, but it’s godawful parking lot. Price wise it’s average for the area ($16 for the ramen). Overall, Tokyo Ramen gets a 6.5/10. Hits the spot, but there’s better (stay tuned)

Haven’t been to Morris Plains since Warner Lambert was sold… but this gives me a reason to go back!
I live in Tokyo, and people here find it hilarious that ramen shops in the US sell you dessert.
