Combo method from a few recipes on Serious Eats.
I only have the little Genesis propane grill (the Spirit 210). I had the left burner on low and put the ribs bone side down on the right side (after generous spice rub in the morning). Grill kept to about 250 throughout the cook.
4.5 hours in I added the barbecue sauce. 4.75 hours in I added more of the sauce. 5 hours in I took it off the grill. It was decent for my first time. I think I may cook longer to get those ribs closer to the 200 degree mark. They were showing 175 when I did take them off but my family and I were hungry and everything else was ready.
I'd rate this one 7/10 because of limited number of directions (no spraying with apple juice every hour) and results were decent.

How does this method compare to just cooking them in the oven, or slow cooker, and then checking them on the grill to caramelise?
