Is this is absolute healthiest thing you can choose for bfast? Nah, but sometimes I feel like sticky sweet French toast or a donut, and this hits the spot in a healthier way, without a “diety” taste or texture.
This slice is like half a pound. Smaller 100-200 cal slices are great for desserts and snacks too π It’s very moist and heavy/filling.
I base it off [this recipe](https://tastesbetterfromscratch.com/skinny-banana-bread/) but with some modifications. This time I added a bit of FF greek yogurt and 2 scoops of vanilla protein powder, maybe half the brown sugar called for, monkfruit instead of white sugar, applesauce instead of butter, and for flour I used a mix of oat flour and gluten free AP. Oh and a little bit of sf choco chips of course. I’ve done lots of variations of this recipe and it always turns out delish, very forgiving. It’s really good with subs/additions like oats, collagen, strawberry powder, flax meal, chia and hemp seeds….
Oh, I made it Gluten free this time too! But it doesn’t have to be.
