So I bought this the other day because I want to up my fiber intake but I genuinely don’t know how the hell i can gulp this , the texture is so creepy. I’ve used 5g with cup of water and juice it tasted bad and then after a while it turned into gel like? I was wondering if i can mix it with 100ml almond milk and cocoa powder on a stove to make hot chocolate drink that i can gulp and get this over with? Help

If this is psyllium fiber husk it is supposed to turn into a jelly. That’s not a bad thing. I would just buy some sugar free jello mix and make a big batch of fiber jello. Just eat it. The consistency is weird when you drink it but fine if you eat it.
Mix it with oatmeal if you like oatmeal? You can top it with some fresh fruit or keto cereal to spice it up some. Vanilla extract and cinnamon are also good additions if you like those.
My motto is: when in doubt blend it into a smoothie
Coarse psyllium husk is definitely going to have that weird texture situation, personally I would just put it in like 16-20 oz of water so it’s as diluted as possible and chug it down before it begins to gel. In the future, looking for fine/smooth powder can help. Metamucil makes flavored artificially sweetened versions as well as an unflavored unsweetened version, they mix into water pretty easily.
Make sure you keep your water intake high through the day, extremely important for it to work properly without creating a blockage.
I blend mine into a protein shake. Protein powder, skimmed milk, sometimes frozen strawberrys, half a tray of icecubes and then a scoop of husk. Don’t even notice it’s in there but it makes it so filling.
I buy the Costco capsules so I just take the capsules and drink a lot of water after. I can’t handle the thick water type texture of the plain husk.
muffins, pancakes, anything you want to bake with. psyllium husk is a great egg replacement. make a gel with it, add some applesauce, non-dairy milk or water, some oatmeal, oat flour, or almond flour, baking powder, in the oven or microwave — voila.
Mix it w water and get a corn syrup like texture. Make granola/cereal/rice crispy treats and bars w it
Use puffed rice cereal to bulk up the bars!
I’ve used it in oatmeal and yogurt.
Side note, the employee at the grocery store I got mine said be careful taking too much, your body will be come dependent on it (or something like that). I have not verified if this is an accurate statement or not.
