This ordinance shall be known and cited as the “No Strangling Pizza Slices Ordinance.”
# Section 2: Purpose
The purpose of this ordinance is to maintain the integrity of pizza consumption, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all residents and visitors within the city limits.

For the purposes of this ordinance, the following terms shall be defined as follows:
* **Strangling**: The act of forcefully squeezing or compressing a pizza slice to the point of compromising its structural integrity. * **Pizza Slice**: A wedge-shaped portion of a pizza, typically consisting of a crust, sauce, cheese, and various toppings.
# Section 4: Prohibited Conduct
* It shall be unlawful for any person to strangle a pizza slice within the city limits. * Strangling a pizza slice includes, but is not limited to: * Excessively folding the slice in a manner that causes toppings to fall off. * Squeezing the slice with such force that it becomes deformed and unrecognizable. * Engaging in any behavior that intentionally compromises the enjoyment and aesthetic of the pizza slice.
# Section 5: Penalties
* Any person found in violation of this ordinance shall be subject to a fine not exceeding fifty dollars ($50) for the first offense. * Subsequent offenses may result in fines up to one hundred dollars ($100) per violation. * Repeat offenders may be required to attend a mandatory pizza etiquette class.
# Section 6: Enforcement
* The enforcement of this ordinance shall be the responsibility of the local police department and designated food inspectors. * Officers and inspectors are authorized to issue citations for any observed violations.
# Section 7: Exceptions
* This ordinance does not apply to individuals under the age of 5, who may require assistance and creative methods to consume pizza slices. * Exceptions may be made during pizza eating contests where specific rules and guidelines are established by the contest organizers.
# Section 8: Severability
If any section, clause, or provision of this ordinance is found to be invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance.
