Hey guys, my plants have been doing pretty well and I will be putting them outside to harden as the night time temps will finally be above 16 degrees celcius.

But now my question is, should I transplant them? Or let them grow a bit bigger? I guess the next stage should be their final pot.

Thank you in advance!

It depends on when you will put them outside. They should be transplanted soon to their final spot. I’d say they can be in these cups for another 2 weeks. Preferably few more days

I would harden them off first and then transplant them to their final pots. I would start now just to get them used to the wind and natural sun, no need for a full overnight. Two weeks of gradual tapering up and it will be a good size to transplant and robust.

Those are lanky, looking for more light. They need more light. My peppers were rootbound at around that much plant mass though.

Transplant them asap, provided the weather let’s you. I don’t know what peppers they are, but definitely start putting them outside for as long as you can during the day, watch them, take them in when/if they droop.

Worst case it’s worth cutting the bottom of the cups and stacking them on another cup of dirt, that will allow further root growth without much of the transplant shock.

Those are ready, but Cleary got too little light so will need gradual hardening to adapt to sun.
