so my favorite order at dim suum is the shrimp rice rolls and I recreated it with rice paper instead of making the rice flour rolls from scratch I’m doing a shortcut and using rice paper it’s pretty simple I’m adding three shrimps some green onions and then just wrap fold in the corner fold in this corner tightly wrap as much as you can brush with a little bit of oil on both sides so so the rice paper don’t stick together when they’re steaming steam the rice rolls for about 8 minutes and don’t forget to cover with a lid and for the shrimp sauce you need soy sauce oyster sauce sesame oil and sugar add some water and give it a good whisk let’s pour our sauce adding a little chili oil I’m so excited to eat m

  1. Every time i try to use rice paper they end up chewy and disgusting and i can't swallow a bite. Literally makes me gag. Do i just not like rice paper or am i doing something wrong?

  2. Nope. Those rice papers have an aftertaste. Making look fun using viet rice papers as a substitute is just nasty. Yuck.
