This is the second high end Omakase sushi place I’ve visited the first being Morihiro. I enjoyed this experience a little more and it was less expensive. Chef Yoshi is super friendly and the staff/service was A+. The mouth feel and textures of his food were really enjoyable. Pictured here are the seared toro, chef holding a slab of tuna, and a smoked Bonito dish. I did leave full and satisfied, not stuffed. Highly recommend Sushi Kaneyoshi for a special occasion and please let me know any other must eat at Sushi places in LA, I’ve heard great things about Sonagi and Inaba.
