[Music] foreign [Music] ERS back and I’m back with yet another amazing recipe I am so excited yet another day because today at the Yum’s house Gina Young is going to share with you all how easy it is to make delicious chicken marsala this recipe right here is amazing it’s so easy to make doesn’t require a lot of ingredients and if you make a Jenny Young style it’s going to be so tasty hands down y’all never have my chicken marsala you better make you some here are the lovely ingredients you all need first thing that you will need would be some chicken so typically when making this recipe you would use a chicken breast but here at the Young’s house we like to use a boneless skinless chicken thigh it’s going to be beautiful it’s going to be juicy and even more flavorful so that’s what I have here I have washed off some boneless skinless chicken thighs you’re going to need some mushroom items any type of mushroom will do the trick I have some white button mushrooms I need to get rid of we have some Marsala cooking wine we’re going to serve our chicken marsala over top of egg noodles buttered egg noodles you’re gonna need a couple of spices so we can make this thing taste good so right here we have onion and garlic powder paprika you’re going to need salt and pepper poultry seasoning a little bit of red pepper flakes and parsley flakes we also have some chicken broth that we will be using to make a gravy you’re going to need some corn starch and flour make sure your hands are impeccably clean let’s get started with this really quick and simple yet so tasty recipe I couldn’t be more excited to share with you all how easy it is to make chicken marsala you know something different a lot of people say Gina you know what every week I make the same thing on Mondays I make this Tuesdays and Wednesdays I make this it’s the same repetitious meal let me show you something different easy and cost effective so now let’s go ahead right away and we’re going to season these boneless skinless chicken thighs don’t be afraid to season I’m telling you that’s garlic and onion powder we will be seasoning both sides a little bit of paprika we’re just going to use the paprika on one side this is not smoked paprika I really like to emphasize that because I’m not a fan of the smack the the smack the smoked paprika all right we’re going in with salt and pepper just like so in this manner we’re gonna put poultry seasoning on one side we’re gonna flip these babies over and then guess what we’re going to do we’re going right in to the flour any kind of flour you want to use is fine I’m using an all-purpose flour okay so now let’s go ahead get it seasoned up on this side same thing we’re not going to put paprika or poultry seasoning on this side it’s really not needed okay salt and pepper how easy was that when I come back we’re going to get these dredged and get them into the oil vegetable oil so here’s how easily we’re going to dredge our seasoned chicken and listen let’s say something real quick now when you take your Meats any Meats doesn’t even matter if it’s beef or if it’s pork you take it out of the refrigerator don’t go to cook it right away because you always need that chill to come off so it can cook up nice and juicy if you decide that you want to cook meat straight out of the refrigerator and it’s freezing cold it’s always going to cook up dry so let it sit on your counter for at least a half an hour before cooking okay so let’s take the season boneless skinless chicken thighs we’re going to give it a nice light dredge just like so always want to shake it the purples for shaking the excess off is because naturally the flower will come off into the pan and what you don’t want to happen is you don’t want for the extra flour that’s going to fall off you don’t want for it to go into the pan burn at the bottom and then your chicken has a burnt flavor you need to see that Sizzle when this hits the pan if you don’t see and hear a Sizzle don’t put any more in until it sizzles the pan has to be hot in order for this to turn out right so I’m continuing to dredge these just like so we’re looking for a light golden brown color on both sides of the chicken how simple how easy this recipe you’re going to love to feed this to your whole family and listen when you make this recipe make sure you make a lot make a lot because they’re gonna they’re coming back for a second plate trust me when I tell you this so right here I have some boiling water I’m going to Salt the boiling water just like so and then I’m going to put some egg noodles in to boil for around about 11 minutes 11 minutes is going to make them nice beautiful and Al Dente I may have put too many in okay all right so now I’m going to give them a nice stir around and if you take a look in here at the chicken you will see where it’s beginning to sizzle and once I can see a golden brown color by looking at it this way from the side I’m going to go ahead and flip it because that’s my indication that it’s time to give it a nice turnover now if you wanted to use some fresh garlic and some onions you can but I found out several times of making this recipe you don’t need the fresh garlic because we’re going to season up our gravy with garlic and onion powder and you don’t need the fresh onions but if you want to absolutely you can put it in there it’ll be a nice addition okay so we got the noodles going got the chicken going let’s go ahead and cut these beautiful mushrooms any kind of mushrooms you want to use I had these mushrooms I figured I needed to use them what can I make with the mushrooms well we’re going to make chicken marsala today and it’s going to be so delicious now somebody let me know in the comment section Below have you ever had chicken marsala if you haven’t you are in for a treat because this is so easy and like I said I can’t I can’t help but to rant and Rave about how delicious this recipe is the first time I made it for my husband he told me he said you know what I would rather have this with chicken thighs and so now I make it with chicken thighs and I have began to love this recipe using chicken thighs keep in mind that I told you all I want to have a very light uh golden brown color on these we’re not aiming for these to get too dark okay absolutely we want them well cooked but I don’t want a really dark outside okay these are going to go into a gravy and our gravy is going to be kind of clarish In Color it’s going to be beautiful I don’t want to overcook these pieces of chicken look at that gorgeous color the whole house is smelling good and I want you all to take a look in at the butter noodles so now or our egg noodles they’re just about done what I’m going to be doing I’m going to be straining them in a colander and after I strain them in the colander I’m going to put a little bit of salt on them a little bit of unsalted butter if you’re using salted butter you don’t need to pinch of salt we’re going to put some parsley flakes and the butter noodles are done we’re going to serve this beautiful Chicken in this amazing marsala gravy Jenny youngsta while we’re waiting on this other side of chicken to get done I think it’s the perfect time to put your beautiful mushrooms in there so that they can begin to cook because when we make our gravy um you want for these mushrooms to be done it’s up to you how much you how long you decide that you want to smother these pieces of chicken in the gravy but just to be honest once the gravy goes in once we make the gravy and we begin to smother the mushrooms and the chicken you only really have to smother it for let’s just say a good 20 minutes but if you want to let it simmer on low until your loved ones you know get home you can just turn it on low but I don’t want you to cover it with foil because covering it with foil will create Steam and then your gravy will be too loose so we’ve drained our egg noodles and now we’re going to season them I I just have to be honest with you when it comes to an egg noodle you need some butter you need some seasoning our seasoning is going to be some salt and pepper this is a salt and pepper blend okay we’re gonna put parsley flakes just to make it nice and pretty right and we want to really work in that butter that butter is going to melt look at these quick and simple dish your whole family is going to enjoy if you need to to get your butter to melt put a little bit of plastic wrap over top of this bowl and the butter will melt even quicker but for now we can just set it aside okay so now what I want to do let’s go ahead and start to take out our cooked chicken Oh Me Oh My Oh wait all right gorgeous that’s what I’m looking for okay so now inside of our pan here I have mushrooms I’m going to leave the mushrooms in there cooking but if I look at the oil that I have here believe it or not that’s a little too much oil so what am I going to do well let me work my way over here and I’ll come right back into the camera I have a clean paper towel and I want to stop up some of this oil so I don’t have too much oil I don’t need a whole lot of oil to make a gravy just a little bit we’ll do the trick so I’m gonna just discard of that a lot of you might want to save your oil and if you do absolutely you can but what we’re going to do when I come back I’m going to show you how easy it is to put together this marsala gravy Genie young style you’re going to need some cornstarch so right here we have our mushrooms we have our oil that’s been flavored with all of those seasonings that we cooked our chicken in and we’re going to go right in with chicken broth you can use salt free chicken broth if you like any kind of chicken broth you even believe it or not you could use a vegetable broth if you have that okay so right here come take a look over here I have one and a half tablespoons of corn starch what we need to do we need to put some water in you can also put a chicken broth okay and you really need to work in that cornstarch into the liquid just like so and sometimes it takes a little strength until it kind of liquefies a little bit perfect so now we have that but now when you think about the gravy we need to wait a second for this come in on the pan wait a second for this to come up to a boil when it comes up to a boil it’s that perfect temperature to make gravy so as soon as you start to see the roiling bubbles then we’ll come in with our cornstarch slurry we’re going to take a whisk and we’re going to be whisking that cornstarch slurry in and literally right before your own eyes you’re going to have an amazing gravy and don’t forget you’re going to need some Marsala cooking wine so now our liquid here and our mushrooms have came up to a boil now we can go ahead put our cornstarch slurry in there and listen if at any time for some reason your mixture does not thicken up you can always add another half a teaspoon or a full teaspoon of cornstarch mixed with water once again until you get that perfect gravy consistency that you’re looking for and now when we think about about gravy you all know what gravy consistency looks like right not too thin you don’t want it like plaster and not too thick you don’t want to like plaster and then not too thin so here in just a second I’ll show you once it begins to come back up to a boil how thick it’s gotten take a look at the gravy full right it’s kind of translucent it’s gorgeous and you know what let me show you the consistency you can see it bubbling right there in the middle not too thick not too thin that right I just want to lick the spoon oh yes I’d want to do it all right but here’s what we need to do oh don’t you get down in there hold on all right salt and pepper don’t be afraid to season a little bit of paprika because we have some here all right garlic and onion powder and I’m not going to skimp on it a little bit of red pepper flakes for those of you that like a little bit of heat parsley flakes Stir It Up we gotta taste it before the chicken goes in all right let’s do this together oh this is exciting okay I’m just going to do a number like this oh oh oh my goodness um oh that’s so good all right okay we’re moving in the right direction Nestle Nestle Nestle that chicken down in there and you smother it in that gravy pretty much as long as you want this right here is chicken marsala and here’s one thing I don’t want you to forget one third of a cup Marsala cooking wine look at that oh it’s a miracle about to happen listen here everybody if y’all enjoyed this video give me a thumbs up if you haven’t subscribed make sure you subscribe tell your family and friends and everyone you know heck tell the whole world about Gina Young what I’m doing in this kitchen on a daily basis now when I come back and don’t you don’t you go nowhere because you got to taste it when I come back I want to show you how I like to present this we’re going to say an amazing prayer you’re going to get that first bite take a look at this this is what it’s supposed to look like now some of you right now you’re going to say how long did you let it simmer I let it simmer for 20 minutes wham bam done beautiful dish take a look at it everybody Jeannie young style homemade chicken marsala make you some oh wait look at that Mickey something tuna young Style Heavenly Father I’d like to thank you for this beautiful meal today in Jesus Christ’s name we pray amen amen once again to my beautiful prayer I can’t wait I can what oh it’s tender like butter oh my goodness okay so let me get the buttered noodles okay let me get the chicken and let me get um that gravy you might not be able to see it on camera that gravy is all over everything on this Fork take a bite let me know what you think I’m going in this this is a big old bite let’s see I’m not gonna be able to do it let’s see we’ll do it this way just peace for peace don’t know God bless good night make yourself [Music]
