I usually just get their whole chickens. Maybe I should branch out a little, lol. That looks awesome

Have only had the rotisserie chicken there. What are those 2 dishes?

Oh yeah! What did you get? What’s that drink?
We usually get a whole dark meat chicken (don’t think about it) and yucca (which my wife loves) and maduros (fried plantain, which I love).

this place is really really expensive. And they have always been more expensive than the competition ever since they opened up many years ago. Yes the chicken is good, but I feel it’s not good enough for the premium price. And then they started charging for extra sauce. So I stopped going. I don’t think I was ever disappointed in their food, but I was only disappointed in the bill. Thank you for the post.

It is! I wish they did they had the option of the traditional Peruvian chicken sides which are steak fries and salad with iceberg lettuce and cucumber. Their seasoning is amazing!! I live inka chicken. It’s better than brasas peruanas in round rock. However brasas has better sauces and the sides for pollo a la brasa.

Yes, Amazing Chicken…. Do NOT sleep on their Salsa! Best fresh salsa since Tamale House on Airport (RIP).

This place fucks. It’s so good. It reminds me of Damascus. I know it’s nowhere near the same thing, but when I was a kid, there was this place that sold rotisserie chicken. They just made it there. Also, it was fresh. There was chickens in cages, you just pick one and they take it to the back and prepare it for you. So you could buy a rotisserie chicken or a raw one. Inka reminds me of that place. I think the last time I was there was in 1992 and I don’t think it’s around anymore.

I need lomo saltado in my life again. I miss Peru so much
Panda-Nocturno
So good! The lomo saltado and fried plantains are the BEST!

Their food is absolutely amazing, I have had it at least a dozen times. But more importantly, they gave me free ice cream once when I was pregnant and I’ll never forget that. Please support them because they are kind, hardworking folks and they had to close for a couple of days last week due to a water main break.

Confirmed, best part of being in Wells Branch.

They fry the taco for the taco salad when you order it, fill that sucker with chicken, and their veggies always taste fresher than other fast-dining options. Also, the salsas slap.
They’re not cheap, but they are absolutely worth the price. And the nicest people, too.

I tried going last weekend and it was closed 🙁

I could substitue all drinks for their Chicha Morada.

Just for awareness, this place offers fusion Peruvian food, but does not strive to offer traditional flavors on the classic dishes. Most fusions are Mexican inspired for the demographic in town. With that being said, I enjoy the combinations. I kinda wish a La Granja (Peruvian) franchise would open here in Austin.

Finally, a place that’s close to me on this sub, thank you!
And I love Peruvian but got bored with Lima Criolla. Looking forward to trying this place.

Been going since the opened. It was a trek to get there, but worth it. Moved even further away, and wish they had another location. Pollo Rico was always good until recently, but has gone to total crap lately (dry chicken). Wish Inka would expand.

I’ve loved their Aji De Gallina!

I might be the only person who didn’t fall head over heels for this place. It was good. But not $40 for a chicken and two sides good..I’ll stick with a Costco or HEB chicken for that price.

Hard agree. So much food for the price too.
