Always opted for normal wings but lately these chicken legs have been my go to. Way cheaper & very juicy. Cooked on the ol weber kettle slow + with some hickory & pecan wood chunks for that good flavorful smoke. When temps hit around 170's sear these suckers until the outside skin are burnt as I like them. Turned out fantastic. Pair with your favorite beer (or 12)

    I switched to Hot Legs a while back.. more meat.. lots cheaper.

    Get yourself a good set of poultry shears and start cutting up whole chickens into parts for grilling.

    More variety in what you serve at the table, and every single part is cheap.

    I like to brine them for about half an hour, then rub em with some bbq spices, then grill like you did, and then skip the sauce.

    Those look great though. I wouldn’t mind a saucy face for those.
