Things turned out pretty good. It did take me longer than expected because I cooked the burgers at about 400 first. Since I was doing a reverse sear on the Tri Tip, I had to cool the Kamado down to about 275. I then smoked the Tri Tip to 115F and pulled it. Got the heat cranked back up over 500 on Kamado for the sear. Results were good but I didn’t plan the time well.
