[Music] hey guys and welcome back to my channel so today I’m gonna be showing you guys how I make my creamy spinach so to begin with I am using store-bought Swiss chard that’s already been chopped so I’m just going to look through it and remove any spinach that is not in good condition then the next step will be for me to chop it up into small chunks the method that I use is I actually put the spinach on one on top of the other and I just cut it down and then I’m cutting it into small enough pieces [Music] so the next step is for us to put the spinach in a pot of got a pot with some heated oil so it’s just gonna pour all your spinach inside don’t worry if it doesn’t fit because your spinach will wilt down you’re just gonna stir that mixture down just just get everything started next I’m adding some onion and some red pepper you can also add yellow pepper if you like at today I just wanted to only add some red pepper to this mixture again we’re just going to saute it and make sure that it is evenly distributed across our spinach and then we’re going to just mix it up until it starts to decrease its level [Music] while that is cooking down we’re going to prepare our creamy sauce I’ll be using the Knorr creamy mushroom soup mixture so I’m just going to pour some of this mixture into a bowl and then to that I’m going to be adding some chicken stock if you’re a vegetarian or you’re vegan you are more than welcome to add vegetable stock at this point in time and then lastly I’m going to add some garlic salt and give it a quick mix and then I’m going to add some water and then just mix that up to create a nice sauce if you don’t have garlic salt but you have some fresh garlic you’re more than welcome to place it into the spinach mixture at the beginning with your onions so now we’re just going to add our creamy mixture to our spinach so the amount of water you add will determine that how thick your sauce is so I’m just pouring a little bit of what at a time and then checking how much how thick my sauce is we’re just going to continue to mix that for a little bit now we’re gonna allow that to simmer for about 3 to 3 minutes just to get our soup mixture to cook the final step will then be for us to add some plain cream cheese I use plain cream cheese and not any flavor in my cream cheese they’re just gonna add your cream cheese into your pot now also this portion is very very important that you only take out a small amount at a time and mix it into your spinach mixture now you might have noticed that I did not add any salt and that’s because the soup mixture the stock as well as the cream cheese has enough salt to season our spinach and then finally look at that creamy spinach guys doesn’t that look delicious you’re just gonna place your creamy spinach inside a bowl and that is nice and ready to serve you can also freeze the spinach for up to two months in your refrigerated you can just store it and use it like that and you can also add this spinach mixture into pasta to make a nice creamy spinach pasta thank you guys so much for watching please don’t forget to give this video a thumbs up and subscribe if you’re not already

  1. I'm such a spinach lover This is next on my meal prep… I'll be using vegetable stock and see if I can get a vegan cream cheese alternative 🀀🀀🀀🀀

  2. Finally a different alternative to making creamy spinach than just adding milk πŸ™„πŸ€· because I find that the spinach is milky and lacks taste. I'm definitely going to try this one too because spinach and mushrooms are my daily bread πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚
