So – I took the plunge and finally tried these myprotein pancakes. I’ve been jealous of the Kodak ones Americans tend to get so I was determined to make these tasty.

After looking at reviews and subreddits to get advice on how to make these tasty, I settled on trying the following ingredients:

50g cookies and cream protein pancake mix
52ml almond milk
1 medium egg
5g baking powder

I whisked it all together and let it settle whilst the pan got hot. Once it was hot, I sprayed it with low cal cooking spray and left it for a bit. The pan started smoking so I took it off the fire and put 2 tablespoons per pancake, into the pan, returned it to the fire and left it for 2 mins before flipping it and leaving it for 2 mins again.

I did this on low-medium heat (I have a gas cooker)

That’s all I did and they didn’t come out flat or burn. They were dry but that’s always been my experience with anything that has protein powder in it, so I made up for that fact by the toppings I used. All in all, it was an edible outcome 😅
