Healthy Banana Ice Cream 🍦🍨🍌
Sharing a homemade and healthy ice cream recipe that only uses 3 ingredients! Frozen banana is the base for this recipe and makes it low-fat and healthier compared to your standard ice cream. In addition, the banana flavor is mild and the consistency is very smooth and creamy. You can add different flavors and toppings as well. I have yet to experiment much but will plan on it. Enjoy!
Ingredients (per serving):
-2 large ripe bananas
-3 tbs plant-based milk, plus more if needed
-1/2 tsp vanilla extract
-optional flavorings (fruit extracts, nut or seed butters, frozen berries, etc.)
-optional toppings (fruit, sprinkles, syrups, etc.)
Instructions:
-cut the banana into 1-inch chunks and add into a freezer bag
-freeze for at least 6 hours until firm and frozen
-add frozen banana into a blender or food processor with vanilla, milk, and optional flavorings
-pulse blend in 30-second intervals, shaking or mixing in-between to ensure there are no more chunks
-stop once the consistency is thick and smooth; be careful not to add to much extra milk so it does not turn into a smoothie
-once done, the consistency should be similar to soft serve ice cream
-add the ice cream into a freezer-safe container and freeze for 30 minutes for a firmer texture
-scoop into a cone or bowl and add optional toppings
-enjoy!

hey guys let’s make a healthier ice cream using only three ingredients so I start off with ripe bananas I’ll add a Ziploc bag into a bowl that way the bag stands up then I break the banana into 1 in chunks and add it into our bag squeeze all the air out then add it into our freezer after 6 hours it should be frozen enough break it apart and add it into our mini blender with vanilla and milk I pulse blend in 30C intervals taking a break to shake it and mix it up just because the consistency is pretty thick once it’s ready here you can see the consistency is pretty similar to ice cream it’s smooth creamy and the banana flavor is very mild if you want it even more creamy you can add it into a glass container throw in the freezer for about 30 minutes and scoop it into your favorite cone or into a cup that’s it guys you can add whatever toppings you want thanks again for watching take care and follow for more
