It actually turned out great! I'm no chef but I used chesnut hill spaghetti ($1) Ragu chunky, garlic, and onion pasta sauce ($3.85), and their frozen meatballs ($4.25). I added some seasonings I had already to make it better. 4-6 servings for $9.10 👍

Recipe: Bring a pot of water to a boil (add salt).

Meanwhile, in another pan, bring to high heat with some olive oil (to prevent sticking) and add your meatballs, sear until brown.

Pour a full can (45oz) of ragu into the pan with the meatballs. – Season with garlic salt, Italian seasoning, onion powder, salt, and pepper (optional)
    Cover and simmer on low.

Add your spaghetti to the water and boil for ~12 minutes. Stirring occasionally.

When spaghetti is tender, strain and combine into the sauce.

    Serve and enjoy!

how’re the meatballs? don’t think our family dollar even has a freezer section but I’ll have to keep an eye out for spaghetti next time and price check

no store brand pasta sauce around for cheaper? I know HEB is almost witchcraft but their pasta sauces are a little cheaper and imo tastier

hard to go wrong with spaghetti though!
