In the late 70’s, Jim and Lynne Jamoulis took control and made the Cape Cod Café what most know it as today. They added additional items to the menu like sandwiches, soups, and one of the best Greek salads you will ever have!
Today, Papa’s grandsons, Jonathan and Jeremy have added their own menu items, such as specialty burgers, appetizers, and even a gluten free crust. In 2011, they expanded into frozen pizzas that are available in a supermarket near you.
They continue to carry on the tradition of hard work and never cutting corners, ensuring the pizzas eaten today are the same as Papa made over 80 years ago. These beliefs and practices are what set us apart.
The Jamoulis family and all our team members (some over 30 years!) are very proud and thankful. We are honored that so many people proclaim us to be “the best bar pizza on the South Shore” and we agree.

[Music] it’s bumpy frozen pizza reviews yeah on this episode of Bumpy’s frozen pizza review from Cape Cod Cafe have their onion and pepper Pizza uh this is uh the original bar pizza and it says Grill me uh but I’m not I’m going to be throwing this in the oven um gives you all the information right there if you want to pause it right now in read go for it but I’m going to get this in the oven all right well here we are uh first start started this off um for 15 minutes it calls at 450 on a pan if you do it in the oven if you do it in the grill then it’s 425 I didn’t even really look at the grilling thing but um yeah the center I noticed when I went to kind of take it off after 15 minutes was still kind of stuck it wasn’t quite hard enough um on this pan here so I uh Let It Go actually probably went about 21 minutes total at 450 um anyways this pizza smelled fantastic like when it was cooking coming out of the oven it smelled like a fresh pie getting baked um price point on this was it’s $6.99 uh find it at Market Basket I’m not sure if any other place carries it Cape Cod I mean I’m guessing that it’s you know Cape Cod is where it’s probably made so let’s let’s go ahead and cut this now I don’t have a rolling pin so hopefully this little slice of thing will cut it doesn’t seem to be cutting very well not on the pan anyways but yeah there’s definitely some crunch around the edges it’s probably not supposed to be cut on a actual pan like this but why make it extra dishes if not needed any who I’ll figure this out and uh yeah I’ll get back to you when I’m eating one of these slices all right so here we are uh we got this slice right here let’s go ahead and pull that a little bit of a cheese pole just a little bit um it’s kind of flopping smells fantastic though getting a nice pepper and onion smell good uh the AR is coming from the crust the cheese the cheese has a nice uh blend it seems like I mean I’m not sure exactly what cheese is it smells like there’s like more than Mozzarella like Romano or something um just fantastic smelling um let’s go ahead and take our bite here it’s not crunchy in the middle it’s got a doughiness but uh it’s definitely a thinner crust it’s good amount of cheese onion pepper I mean that’s what’s on it you’re tasting that it’s definitely crunchy on the outside on the Outer Edge um it’s very dough in the middle still um I mean I I put this thing up over the the amount of time maybe it’s just my pan that I had it on the pizza pan um I think uh I probably should invest in like a pizza stone um especially since I’m doing all these frozen pizzas it might help especially getting the bottom right seems to be one of the most difficult things uh the cheese was doing the blub blub blub it got darker I mean here’s a a different slice I me it cut it got darker around the edges it looks proper on top for the most part but good amount of sauce in there good amount of toppings I’m getting the crunch from the onion like I said onion pepper flavors um doesn’t taste like Super Fresh on the peppers it smelled that way when it was cooking it smelled like a freshly baked pizza coming out of the oven the U the Aromas well it was still before it got to this point of being more well well done and Tau um it’s a um it’s like a crushed tomato tomato puree uh type of sauce there a saltiness to it it’s not a it’s not a sweet sauce it’s definitely a saltier sauce uh maybe a little bit more salty than some pizzas almost like there’s uh anchovies on it or something I mean the crust is thin it’s kind of crackery but it’s got a little bit of a of a something going I’m still not convinced yet I’m where I want to put this pizza it flops in the center like I said it’s kind of doughy um Let’s Fold this one a little bit some oils coming out of it part from the cheese all right so I think overall not bad uh I think the pizza has more potential uh you just have to have the right cooking apparatuses um maybe grilling this one could have made it better uh I think if I put it right on the rack I think it would have made the crust a little bit better um overall not disappointed in this one I think it’s very nice uh I’d land this in the like kind of lowend very good I think it’s very good but uh maybe not worth the price um but definitely a nice still a nice Pizza especially the Romas when it was cooking that was uh probably the most Pleasant part of this pizza so far um I wish the I wish the crust the dough the pizza dough there had cooked a little bit more especially in the center but that could just be due to my own pizza pan uh cuz the edges are definitely spoton um yeah the crust is it’s it’s a crust uh crackery little bit of little bit of extra flavor to it over some just flavorless discs uh good cheese on it the uh sauce I think could use a little bit more a little bit more spices other than Salt uh and the veggies and the onions have a little bit of crisp to them still but I don’t know the uh the green peppers just taste like they were sauteed down to a softness before this was even cooked so maybe if it was more like a a fresh green pepper cooked onto it you know baked onto it it would have been better I’m not saying that it wasn’t already a fresh green pepper but just the way that it kind of cooked into it it just seems a bit bit it’s some of the uh the green pepper flavor notes and integrity of it are kind of gone um but yeah uh like I said lowend very good for this uh Cape Cod Pizza um I’d say at least give it a go $6.99 $7 for the pizza it’s a little over a pound uh I don’t think that you’ll be like absolutely you know butt hurt over it uh for the price or anything like that so uh not not one of my my top end favorite pizzas so far frozen pizzas but definitely uh it’s a it’s a notable notable pizza so far all right thanks for watching cheers and I’ll catch you on the next bumpy frozen pizza review [Music]

  1. Man I wish we got this around here by me. Looks and sounds delicious. Doesn't look like frozen pizza. I would definitely need a much more crunchy undercarriage but you can just tell it's quality. I love peppers and onions too.

  2. Have one in the freezer. Wish it had some soupey soppressata on there. Have their roni on deck too

  3. That looks a great pizza to be fair and has a history to back it too. Cheers Bumpy, I am enjoying these reviews.

  4. Gourmet frozen, nice 👍 aromatics sound good to me! I like a bit of salt but have to watch it! I would like to try this… juicy pizza 🍕 great score! Cheers bump 🍻
