Ingredients:
2 cups COOKED couscous
4 bunches finely chopped parsley
2 cups seeded and finely chopped cucumber
2 cups seeded and finely chopped tomatos
1/2 cup finely chopped fresh mint
6 finely chopped green onions
1/2 cup olive oil
6 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste (I added almost two teaspoons salt in the end but this is a matter of preference…I also added one teaspoon sugar to bring out the flavor even more)

hey everyone welcome back to D house with Thomas gun and today it’s going to be a quick and easy recipe this is a taboule salad it’s a middle eastern salad the base is mostly uh parsley so I’m just going to put this all together as you can see all the ingredients have been prepared I’ll give you the amounts as I go along and we should be done in under 5 minutes so in the bowl already I have four Bunches of parsley and I’ll just show you really quick it’s really really finely chopped up so as you can see so that’s four Bunches of parsley finely finely chopped I think it’s better to do this manually than with a machine because you get a sharper cut that’s just my opinion to this now we’re going to add uh let’s do the two cups of finely chopped cucumber uh I didn’t see these because these were small cucumbers and they didn’t have many seeds but if you’re using a large cucumber that has a lot of seeds I would seed it because you don’t want this salad to be liquidy after that we’re going to add six green onions again finely chopped then we’re going to add half a cup of fresh chopped mint mint and again I know I’m repeating myself but the word here is finely chopped everything is finely chopped then 2 cups of tomato finally chopped which has been seated as well so if you don’t know how to do that just cut the um the root end off your tomato and then give the whole tomato is squeeze like a tennis ball and all the guts will just ooze out doesn’t sound pleasant but it’ll ooze out and then you can just uh finally chop what you’ve got left uh we need 6 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice so that’s one 2 3 4 five well that’s pretty awesome that was exactly six table spoons and that was actually the juice from one lemon that was a juicy lemon uh now we need half a cup of extra virgin olive oil so that’s a/4 cup another quarter there we go that’s our half cup then one cup no sorry yeah one cup get my measuring cup here well we’re going to use FS so you need one cup of couscous which is very easy to prepare just buy yourself a bag of couscous and follow the instructions on the bag that’s one cup salt and pepper to taste so I’m going to start with about a teaspoon so they say if you cup your hand like this and just the center cup if you feel that that’s a teaspoon let’s do generous pinch or two of pepper and that’s it so now we’re just going to toss everything obviously once it’s all been tossed we’re going to give it a taste and then at that point you will adjust your salt and pepper so there we go quick simple tabouli salad 101 uh if you like this video give it a thumbs up please subscribe to my channel bone Appetit see you next time guten Appetit bye-bye
