How to tell if it’s ready to pick?

I have a green zebra plant with a few tomatoes on it. I thought this is what the fruit was supposed to look like when it’s ripe but it still feels pretty hard. Is it blushing enough to pick and let finish ripening inside?

I’m concerned about theft since this is a community garden and people say a lot of their tomatoes get stolen (this plant was purchased because I had 3 other entire plants stolen). I’m hoping people will leave the green varieties alone since they won’t realize it’s ripe but I don’t want to wait too long. Plus I’m antsy to pick my first tomato! Some of my other early varieties have tomatoes on them already as well but are a ways away from being ready to harvest.
